TV host Willie Revillame drew flak over his refusal to simultaneously
air his program with that of the late president Cory Aquino’s funeral
procession. His tantrums were shown live on air to the distaste of
many.
Not so WILY Revillame.

The ever so arrogant host, who raked his fortune from other’s
misfortunes, may have forgotten that the Lopezes owe ABS-CBN to Tita
Cory. Had it not for the late president, his show would have carried a
different name.

Almost instantly, the incident was posted on Youtube. There, hundreds
gave damning opinions, despising Revilla as “makapal ang mukha.”
Ok lang daw kasi MAKAPAL NAMAN ANG BULSA!

Example: “Willie Revillame is by far the most annoying, convincingly
insincere, social inbred whose skills on ‘entetaining’ people either
fall short or just plain short and downright grandstanding. His views
expressed were hands down a reflection of his real self: --- cold,
shiny,hard plastic.”
Sounds like Joey De Leon was speaking.

On live broadcast, Willie lashed at the ABS-CBN management for showing
the funeral cortege. He even asked the management to “choose” between
his show and the Cory footages.
He earns far more than his network bosses that’s why.

Many of those who were turned off by his ill attitude now call for a
boycott. Some are even asking the MTRCB to suspend the host from the
show.
Once suspended, Willie should try out as celebrity guest on Eat
Bulaga’s Pinoy Henyo.

National Press Club President Benny Antiporda was among those
infuriated by Willie’s remarks. The NPC president said ABS-CBN should
teach Willie some lessons on humility and respect.
I’d say teach him history. His network’s history.

I still wonder why many find Wowoweee appealing. Worldwide, it shows
some Pinoys’ fondness for fastbucks and dole-outs. I frown everytime I
see poor contestants narrating their sorrows in Willie’s show.
Pathetic.
That’s show BUSINESS.
