NOy RETREAT, NOy SURRENDER

Sen. Noynoy Aquino announced his family might give up ownership of
Hacienda Luisita, a 6,400-ha sugarcane plantation in Tarlac.
He is no sugar daddy.
oOo
His partymates are worried the Luisita, where scores of farmers have
died over decades-old disputes, could derail Noynoy’s bid for the
presidency.
No SWEET talk.
oOo
When first asked to run for president, Aquino III went on a weeklong
retreat. He came back declaring he has accepted the challenge.
NOy RETREAT, NOy SURRENDER.
oOo
Sen. Mar Roxas gave up his presidential ambition in favor of Aquino
and would instead run for vice president. He finally came to his
senses that with more formidable presidential candidates he was
facing, the millions he poured in his political ads will just be a
waste.
Nasa huli nga naman ang pagsisisi.
oOo
Seriously, though, I think an Aquino-Roxas administration will work
wonders for the country because both are bachelors.
We will have no First Lady at least for a while.
oOo
And, more importantly, there will be no PRESIDENTIAL SONS who might
decide to run for congress and stash their own ill-gotten wealth.
Batu-bato sa langit ang tamaan ‘wag magagalit.
oOo
The only thing that bothers me is that if Aquino wins, there will be a new FG.
First Girlfriend.
oOo
Lakas-Kampi-CMD gave Vice President Noli De Castro until mid-September
to decide whether or not he would join the administration party and,
possibly, become its standard bearer.
Pagnagkataon, bigo si Gibo.
