SleePING with the enemy

September 21 is observed as an annual official holiday. Quite funny.
It only reminds us of strife and grief during the dark days of Martial
Law.
UNholiday.
oOo
A week after attacking his former boss, Joseph Estrada, Sen. Panfilo
Lacson renewed his tirades against Sen. Manny Villar. He accused
Villar of conspiring to produce a witness that would link him to the
Dacer-Corbito case.
Villar certainly has a talent of LINKING not only roads to his
subdivisions but people too.
oOo
In a recent interview, Lacson claimed he had known Estrada since 1972
when the actor was accosted for mauling the late Rudy Fernandez. Since
then they became friends until he served him loyally as police chief
during the deposed president’s short-lived term.
SleePING with the enemy.
oOo
Many are complaining that Quezon City Vice Mayor Herbert Bautista
became scarce all of a sudden after outgoing Mayor Feliciano Belmonte
reportedly “anointed” the former actor as heir to the city’s throne.
BIG MISTEK for Bistek.
oOo
Sen. Kiko Pangilinan announced that he would support the Noynoy-Mar
tandem in next year’s elections. Notably, Kris Aquino, Korina Sanchez
and Pangilinan’s wife, Sharon Cuneta, are talents of ABS-CBN.
It’s all a KAPAMILYA affair.
oOo
Vice President Noli De Castro remains unapologetic for his outburst
during a recent visit in Laguna. He said urban poor militants who
heckled while he was delivering a speech were actually those who
failed to pay their government housing dues due to “laziness.” He
called them KSP, or kulang sa pansin.
KSP nga- Kulang Sa Pambayad.
oOo
Administration party standard bearer Gilbert Teodoro said he still
favors a reproductive health bill now pending in congress despite
strong opposition by the Church. Religious beliefs should not deter
the State from enforcing such measure, he explained.
See if his stand will reproduce healthy votes for him.
oOo
The nomination of DILG Sec. Ronaldo Puno as Teodoro’s runningmate was
not in the party’s executive committee meeting agenda. Still, the two
were officially endorsed as admin bets.
Hidden agenda.
oOo
Militant lawmakers have called on Teodoro to resign his post for fear
that he might use his influence as defense chief in boosting his
chances in the race.
No worry. Former AFP chief Hermogenes Esperon is running for a
congressional seat in Pangasinan.
