Fourth eye
For aug. 3
There is no cross we can’t Cory
With her death, we mourn. And as loved ones carried her casket, the
heavens wept.
Even Jolina was in deep sorrow.
oOo
Indeed, she was just a housewife with no knowledge on the presidency.
But she was the only housewife who survived seven coup attempts and a
damning power crisis.
oOo
Amidst all the troubles she encountered, dealing with cancer was one
of the easiest, she declared.
It only involved herself.
oOo
By her example, people believed in life even after death.
And life after this government.
oOo
By her faith, we were moved. Her death was her resurrection.
A beacon forever shining brightly for those on the dark side.
oOo
She gave us hope and proved that despite the odds, it was still
honorable to be born a Filipino and die a Filipino.
In a country being run like hell by a Filipino.
oOo
She was an icon of morality and good governance.
She had no First Gentleman in the first place.
oOo
She was an icon of democracy who paved the way for the phenomenon
called People Power. She never lied, cheated or stole.
I grief with the fear that without her, the liars, cheaters and
thieves will rejoice.
oOo
She had great power but was never intoxicated by it. She gave the
country a new Charter to live by.
The same Charter some people are now dying to replace to suit their caprices.
oOo
A country without her is like a world without air which the people can
breathe freely.
But her humility and sacrifices taught us that no matter how heavy,
there is no cross we can’t CORY!
